Ken Skipper was the US Geological Survey’s Yucca Mountain Project Branch Chief from 2005 until the project was closed in 2011. Ken has spent 28 years of his 40 year Federal service with 2 Departments in 3 federal agencies working on disposal of radioactive wastes. Positions held included the DOE YM EIS Document and Program Manager and the YM onsite Field Test Coordinator. Prior to this, Ken worked as an engineering geologist with the Bureau of Reclamation on siting, design data collection, construction and existing dam safety where he was responsible for geologic, geotechnical and hydrologic investigations.
