Biography

Dennis Washenfelder is the retired former manager of the Washington River Protection Solutions LLC Tank and Pipeline Integrity Engineering group at Hanford, Washington. The group is responsible for fitness-for-service evaluations and forensic investigation of the structural and leak integrity of Hanford tank farms’ underground radioactive waste storage tanks and waste transfer lines. Dennis has 52 years’ experience in the nuclear fuels reprocessing and radioactive waste management fields. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry degree from Washington State University.
