Biography

Dr Mayur Jagatia is currently the Nuclear Business Director for Amec Foster Wheeler residing in Japan and representing the interests of both our UK and US businesses for both on and off site decommissioning. He has spent over two years in this role engaging with the nuclear market and in particular Fukushima. For F1, he has worked with numerous Amec Foster Wheeler technical services and product businesses to support various Japanese challenges in the area of decommissioning strategy. Including looking at different aspects of fuel debris removal, waste management and geopolymer encapsulation, one option for waste solidification.
