Biography

Currently Jim works for the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) who regulate the discharges and disposals of radioactive waste (both nuclear and non-nuclear waste) to the Scottish environment. Jim has worked for SEPA for over 16 years; first in RS policy leading on implementation of UK and Scottish legislation latterly in his main role as a site inspector at the Rosyth naval dockyard where PWR submarines are being decommissioned. Jim has spent over 25 years working in the nuclear industry; starting off his career working in the R&D department at the Sellafield nuclear complex and then moving into
