Biography

Douglas Metcalfe, B.A.Sc., M.A.Sc., P.Eng. Mr. Metcalfe is a Senior Manager at Natural Resources Canada, and is responsible for the federal government’s Nuclear Legacy Liabilities Program. Doug has 30 years of experience in the fields of radioactive and hazardous waste management, decommissioning and site restoration. Doug has worked as a consultant and in government policy and regulatory environments, and holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
