Biography

Cheryl joined the Office of River Protection as a Nuclear Safety and Nuclear Criticality Safety Specialist in January 2011. She has been working on the Hanford Site since 1989. Prior to becoming a federal employee in 2011, Cheryl spent 6 years as a project manager overseeing nuclear safety transportation projects where she became the on-site authorization basis subject matter expert. Cheryl’s career experience has spanned design engineering to nuclear safety principal implementation and operations across the Hanford Site. Cheryl earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Washington State University.
