Biography

Born in 1950, graduated in Chemistry at University “La Sapienza”, Rome, in 1974, Giorgio De Angelis is in ENEA since 1979. He has been involved in various programmes concerning management, treatment, conditioning and disposal of low and medium activity waste, mainly in the frame of Contracts with Euratom. Researches on pyrometallurgical teatment of simulated nuclear metal fuel are presently under way, as well as experiments about capture of volatile fission elements. He represents Italy in the frame of the NEA/OECD Working Group on separation chemistry.
