Biography

Allison Scott Majure fosters environmental cleanup in her current role as Environmental Liability & Controls Program Analyst for the U. S. Department of Energy’s Los Alamos site and through her earlier work managing performance evaluation for the DOE’s Environmental Management Los Alamos Field Office, as a technical assistance contractor at S & K Technologies. Previously, Ms. Majure was appointed by Governor Susan Martinez, functioning as the State of New Mexico's Environment Department (NMED) Communications Director from 2015 – 2018. At NMED, she used her education in science history, as well as her professional experience in media relations, to improve the clarity of scientific knowledge shared with stakeholders.
