Biography

This is Andrew Stewart's second year presenting at the WM Symposia. He has three years experience working on the regulatory side of waste decommissioning projects in Canada. Andrew has been able to participate in IAEA's workshop on the Cost Estimation for Decommissioning Nuclear Facilities. He received an honours in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) in 2011. The presentation you will hear today are Andrew's independent observations on how normative economic theories of regulation can help foster innovation in radioactive waste management.
