20+ years in Health Physics and Nuclear Engineering fields. 6 years with the U.S. EPA with emphasis on radioactive site cleanup and waste management, radiation emergency response and planning, compliance with standards on radioactive air emissions and revision of EPA Uranium Fuel Cycle standards. Previously led geologic repository nuclear criticality safety review, performed dose, risk assessments for radiation workers at nuclear facilities, developed naval and space reactors and surveyed produce and construction materials after Chernobyl accident. Holds degrees of Ph.D. in Radiation Health Physics from Oregon State University and M.S. in Dosimetry and Radiation Protection from Leningrad Polytechnic Institute.
