Dr. Kathleen Thiessen is a Senior Scientist with Oak Ridge Center for Risk Analysis in Tennessee, where she evaluates exposures, doses, and risks to human health from trace levels of radiological and chemical contaminants in the environment. Dr. Thiessen has been involved in the International Atomic Energy Agency's model testing programs since the 1990s and has led working groups in dose reconstruction and urban contamination within these programs.
