Biography

Grace is a Business Intelligence Analyst and EDGE rotational program participant in Black & Veatch’s Business Intelligence Group. Upon college graduation in 2021, she expanded upon her internship with Black & Veatch and joined the Civil Substation group in Bloomington, Minnesota. In this group, Grace spent most of her time on a large new-build project for a prominent client. She observed this project through many phases; she took part in initial steel and concrete design and worked through construction support and a site visit once construction had begun. In her next rotation, Grace relocated to her hometown of Chicago and worked in the Civil Works Dams Group. She has worked on geotechnical reports on tunnel and ground restoration projects and has assisted on the early design stages of a large retaining wall project. Now a part of the Business Intelligence group, she seeks to combine her civil engineering knowledge and data skills to increase project efficiency in data management. She is currently staffed full time on the Gross Reservoir Expansion project in Colorado, where her data skills and innovative ideas are vital to the QA/QC team.
