Biography

Laurence Piketty is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Chimie de Paris and obtained a doctoral degree in physics in 1992 at University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris). Since July 2013, Laurence Piketty is the Director of Nuclear Dismantling Division at the Nuclear Energy Division at the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA). From 2010 to 2012, she was successively: Scientific Director at the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, and Technical Advisor in the cabinet of French Prime Minister. From 1995 to 2010, she held several positions at CEA: in particular, she was head of the Unit in
