Biography

Dr. Jas Devgun has four decades of experience in the nuclear industry and nuclear research including numerous power plant design, modification and decommissioning projects. After recently retiring from fulltime work, he is an independent consultant. Past positions have included: Manager, of Nuclear Power Technologies at Sargent & Lundy, Associate Director of R&D Program Office at Argonne National Laboratory. He is currently a Fellow of WMS, Member of the International Advisory Board of Journal of Nuclear Science and Technology, and a Member of OECD-NEA Committee on decommissioning. He has nearly 200 publications/reports and has contributed to 3 books.
