Biography

Didier Dall’ava was born on February 25th, 1958. He holds a Master of Sciences in chemistry and physics in 1982. He joined the French Atomic and Alternative Energies commission in 1983. From 1983 to 1999, he leads R&D activities on nuclear materials and then nuclear licensed facility building for CEA’S military programs. From 2000 to 2007, he was firstly assigned to R&D on MOX fuels and then operated nuclear licensed facilities in charge of nuclear waste treatment and storage. In 2008, he joined the fast neutron reactor program and became director of Phenix reactor in charge of operation, last experimental studies before its shutdown
