Since graduating from NJIT in 1984, Bill Bracey has worked at AREVA TN as a shielding and criticality analyst, leak testing engineer, and manager for design, licensing, and fabrication projects. He pioneered the use of metal matrix composite neutron absorbers for criticality control and obtained the first NRC approval of this material for the TN-68 cask in the year 2000. He created AREVA TN’s department of of Product Strategy and Innovation and led it from 2010 to 2014. He is currently a technical advisor for AREVA TN.
