Biography

Richard Brown is a 40-year veteran with Bechtel’s Procurement organization, specializing in global supply chain management for the Engineering and Construction industry. Brown recently joined the Y-12 National Security Complex as the Manager of Procurement for the nation’s new Uranium Processing Facility. Y-12 is managed and operated by B&W Y-12, a partnership of the Babcock & Wilcox Company and Bechtel, for the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration. Before joining Y-12’s UPF team, Brown led the Waste Treatment Plant Equipment Group, responsible for $1.2 billion of major equipment for the Department of Energy’s WTP Vitrification Plant in Hanford,
