Biography

Brian Ivan Castillo is an undergraduate student at Florida International University currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science degree in biomedical engineering and a minor in mechanical design. Brian’s professional interests include biomechanics, robotics, and project management. Brian is a DOE Fellow in the DOE-FIU Science and Technology Workforce Development Program, working on developing a new method to determine the integrity of high-level waste transfer components with regards to erosion and corrosion under the mentorship of Dr. Dwayne McDaniel.
