Biography

Karen Lowrie is an Associate Director at the Center for Urban Policy Research at Rutgers University, and is affiliated with CRESP. Specific projects have included assessing socioeconomic impacts of large contaminated sites, building local capacity for enhancing urban neighborhood health and planning, addressing health and risk issues with community-based health interventions, producing training videos, and conducting Health Impact Analyses. Dr. Lowrie also serves as the Managing Editor for the journal Risk Analysis.
