Ryan Covert started his career in the nuclear industry while interning four years for Battelle at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, WA while earning his bachelor’s degree. Upon receiving his BS in Chemical Engineering at Washington State University, he became a District Engineer for Nalco, supporting chemical applications throughout the Northwest. Ryan entered Hanford as a Chemical Engineer in 2014 working at the Waste Treatment Plant. In 2016, Ryan began working on the central plateau as a Chemical Engineer and later went into Project Management and Management. In 2022, Ryan left Hanford to support Jacobs and their Joint-Ventures across North America as a PM.
