Biography

Corinne Bauer has over 25 years of experience into the French HLW and IL-LLW Deep Geological Repository, Cigéo. Since 2023, she holds the position of deputy director of the Cigéo Program. Her deep knowledge, based on successive positions at Andra, as geotechnical researcher at Bure URL, lead engineer in charge of phenomenological analysis and performance evaluation, engineer in charge of the underground installations design and later manager of the technical-economic coordination with the waste producers financers, gave her natural leadership in the project final optimization phase and licence application preparation.
