Biography

Emma works in the areas of radioactive waste disposal, nuclear site operation and closure, carbon capture usage and storage (CCUS) and is applying skills in optimisation and options assessment, decision support, risk assessment, environmental assessment modelling and geology. Emma has site knowledge of Dounreay, LLW Repository Ltd and Sellafield Ltd and supports work to optimise site End States with GRR and GRA guidance. Emma provided technical support the Gate B Site End States options assessment for Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd concerning contaminated land and in-ground contaminated structures. Previously, Emma worked as a sedimentologist in the oil and gas industry.
