Mr. Calmus graduated with a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Washington State University in the mid-1980s and has since been working in the DOE complex. Ron’s career has predominantly been focused on maturation of first of a kind or unique and novel technologies for field use. A few of his many projects include the following: Reactor piping liquid nitrogen freeze blocking, Special Isotope Separation processes, high-level waste melter systems, tank grouting, and many tank farm operating and tank Invasive support equipment. Recently, Ron has managed the Hanford tank waste vapors monitoring and cold spray repair development projects.
