Biography

Dr. Leandro Barajas is a Leidos Technical Fellow and Chief Engineer with the Unmanned Systems and Aerodynamics Department, at Dynetics, Inc. He is an AIAA Associate Fellow and an IEEE Senior Member. Leandro is the Dynetics’ Chief Engineer for the DARPA Mobile Force Protection Program, a counter-UAS effort employing multimodal sensing and interdiction capabilities to defeat UAS threats using low collateral UAS interceptors. Dr. Barajas has been distinguished with over 60 corporate, academic, governmental, and professional awards. He has authored over 60 technical publications and 40 patents & patent applications in the in the robotics, controls, and AI/ML areas.
