Biography

Mr. Hertzel is a U.S. Navy Disabled Veteran. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power School. Since he began working at Hanford in the early 1980’s, Mr. Hertzel acquired extensive experience and knowledge in his roles as Engineering Manager, Production Control and Project Control Manager, the Leak Detection Monitoring and Mitigation (LDMM) Manager and Manager of the Initial Single-Shell Tank Systems (ISSTRS) retrieval project. He later became the manager of the Tri-Party Agreement (TPA) Team and was responsible for over 30 major TPA Negotiations. He started TradeWind Services in 2005.
