Biography

40 years of experience on the safety-related issues of nuclear technology, nuclear waste management and nuclear waste disposal; nationally and internationally recognized expert in the back end of the nuclear fuel cycle; led critical, complex projects of national importance to successful completion; developed projects from idea to successful implementation; nuclear regulatory and licensing; led policy-informing technical analyses and engaging with Congressional staff and legislative committees; led and managed multidisciplinary organizations involving hundreds of staff with program budgets ranging from tens of millions to a hundred million dollars; authored/co-authored 90+ technical publications.
