Biography

Steve Brown, CHP, is president of SHB Inc., a radiological consulting firm in Centennial, Colorado. Since forming his company in early 2007, he has been working as a consultant in the uranium recovery industry in the design, licensing and operation of uranium recovery projects and in the assessment and remediation of numerous legacy uranium sites . He is a board certified health physicist with over 45 years experience in the nuclear industry. He has been the radiation safety officer for six licensed uranium recovery facilities and principal radiological engineer and nuclear safety specialist at many DOE former nuclear weapons plants and is a member of Colorado Governor's Radiation Advisory Committee.
