Biography

Dr. Cozzi is a principal investigator at the Savannah River National Lab. He has been performing research to develop and characterize waste forms for hazardous and radioactive waste suitable for existing and future repositories for the past eighteen years. Since beginning with glass and ceramic waste forms, for the past ten years Dr. Cozzi has been investigating cementitious waste forms at both the Savannah River Site and the Hanford Site. His interest covers both the processing aspects and long term performance of the waste forms.
