Biography

M. Blazsekova graduated at Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Department of Nuclear Chemistry, Slovak Republic in 1994. She has been working in the nuclear energy sector for 24 years, mainly in the field of radioactive waste management, analytical chemistry and radiochemistry. In her current position, the Head of Research and Development in Jacobs Slovakia, her focus is primarily aimed on the development of novel radioactive waste treatment technologies and moreover she is responsible for the implementation of SIAL® solidification technology within licensing procedures for new markets in European and Asian regions. In her previous position, she had been involved on research of regeneration processes for used decontamination agents.
