Biography

Michael Nartker, Director of Communications for Longenecker and Associates, has more than 20 years’ experience in the nuclear energy and security areas, specializing in the U.S. Department of Energy’s cleanup program and nuclear energy issues. He is a proven leader in developing national-level communications and government relations programs with significant expertise in designing and implementing strategies to overcome significant communications and stakeholder challenges. He has held communications and leadership roles in the DOE offices of Environmental Management and Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs. Michael also previously worked as a journalist for 15 years covering nuclear-related issues.
