Biography

James Kelly is the Group Leader for the Mechanics of Materials Group in the Materials Engineering Division at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He leads a group of subject matter experts that support various programmatic missions. He is also part of a team that is developing ceramic filter technology to improve safety and reduce lifecycle costs for filtration systems. Outside of work he is focused on his family, which includes a wife and two young children.
