Biography

Ken Whitham, VP, Health, Safety, Security & Environment, Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) Ken provides strategic and operational direction to ensure safe, reliable, and sustained HSSE operations across all CNL sites. His organization works closely with all CNL missions to ensure work is performed safely and complies with the contract and regulations. Ken is a Health Physicist with 40-plus years of experience in nuclear operations, emergency response, decommissioning & demolition, construction, and academia. Ken’s prior assignments have included U.S. submarine nuclear reactor operations, U.S. Department of Energy, adjunct faculty at Idaho State University, and Senior Director Health, Safety, Security & Quality at the Idaho Clean-up Project.
