Biography

My name is Gisele Guimarães Daflon Antonio, labor inspector, occupational physician, nutritionist, master in radioprotection and dosimetry, mother and wife. I started my professional life as a medical officer, first lieutenant and on duty in an emergency in 1997, where I learned about survival and medical performance in conflict areas. In 1999 I started working at the Ministry of Labor as a labor inspector specializing in occupational medicine. My work is very rewarding because it allows me to travel and get to know the country to combat degrading and slave work, including indigenous areas, The university gives us support as allies in uniting supervision and respect for indigenous knowledge.
