Biography

Nelson John Andrews Jr is the Emergency Management Director, a Tribal Councilman, and VP of the Community Development Corporation for the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe. Nationally, he is Chairman of the United South & Eastern Tribes Homeland Security & Emergency Services Committee and is on the Executive Committee for Tribal Radioactive Materials Transportation Committee. He aids his Tribe in addition to working with Tribal Nations, federal, state and county partners in the emergency management field. He worked for the Federal Emergency Management Agency as a Logistics Section Chief and the National Incident Management Assistance Team as Support Branch Director.
