Biography

Anna Wikmark is a specialist of radioactive materials transports with 30 years of experience from the nuclear industry and 26 years in radioactive materials transport. She has been leading several international projects involving shipment of irradiated nuclear fuel and core components. In the period 2014-2023, Anna was working at the Swedish Nuclear Fuel and Waste Management Co. Her responsibilities included the Swedish Nuclear Transport System with the INF-3 vessel M/S Sigrid. Today Anna is the CEO of Svafo. Svafo is responsible for decommissioning nuclear facilities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner and handling nuclear waste from early Swedish research (i.e. legacy waste).
