Biography

Thomas Kalinowski is President and owner of DW James Consulting; a company providing waste characterization services and software to the nuclear power industry. He has over 40 years of experience in Health Physics and Radioactive Waste Management, including 20 years in commercial nuclear power. He has a B.A. in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island and Nuclear Engineering Support Certificates from PPL Susquehanna. He was formerly the Chair of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Radioactive Waste Systems Committee, is a member of the ANSI/HPS N13.50 Standard Working Group and a recipient of the ASME Sarge Ozker Award.
