Biography

Richard Sackett has been in the radioactive waste business for over 35 years. He began his career with Scientific Ecology Group (SEG) in Oak Ridge, TN in operations and held multiple supervisory positions, including assistant plant manager. When SEG became Duratek, Richard moved to the Memphis facility, where he was the interim site director, overseeing all operations and over 150 employees. Duratek later became EnergySolutions, where Richard has spent the last 20+ years in business development. As a sales director, Richard works closely with his customer base to find creative solutions to complex waste issues.
