Biography

Dr. Te-Yang Soong has over 30 years of experience in landfill liner, engineered cover, geosynthetic, and geotechnical engineering. He has worked on landfills across the country including OH, MI, PA, IN, IL, WI, KY, NM, WA, TX, TN and NV. He had been retained by the DOE Headquarters as a member of the CD-2/3A Project Peer Review team for the OSWDF project at PORTS in Piketon, OH. He also led the design engineering, permitting, and CQA of a LLRW landfill at the NNSS site as well as at many other landfills across the DOE footprint.
