Biography

Thomas E. Magette is the President of Severn Nuclear Services, which provides nuclear regulatory strategy and licensing services to the nuclear power industry. He has over 40 years experience managing and conducting environmental assessment, siting, licensing, and nuclear safety programs for energy generation and transmission, national defense, and waste disposal facilities. His experience covers a wide spectrum of the nuclear industry, including decommissioning and low level radioactive waste. Mr. Magette has held senior management and executive positions in federal government, engineering, management consulting, and industry firms. Mr. Magette holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
