Biography

Richard has 3 years of experience with Westinghouse Electric Company. He led transportation efforts for the Project Pele mobile reactor, and is currently the lead transportation engineer on the eVinci transportable microreactor project. Prior to this Richard had 10 years of experience in the Defense and Aerospace industry with a emphasis in accurate simulations of real-world, large deformation processes resulting from extreme loading events such as thermo-mechanical industrial manufacturing processes, blast, penetration mechanics, and automotive crash-worthiness. Richard has a Master's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
