Biography

Justin Conrad is Professor and Gary K. Bertsch Director of the Center for International Trade and Security (CITS) at the University of Georgia. He is also a Joint Appointee at Savannah River National Laboratory. Dr. Conrad's current work focuses on nuclear energy and waste policy, energy security, climate security and nonproliferation. His research has been published in leading academic journals, and he is the author or co-author of three books. He is a former U.S. Navy officer and has also worked in the international private sector.
