Biography

Stephanie Ortiz, graduates spring 2022 with a major in Chemistry. While at Florida International University, she established and grew her passion for science. With a curious mind and avid zeal towards science, she has been a learning assistant for general chemistry I & II and organic chemistry. She has furthered her pedagogical experience by being an adjunct organic chemistry lab teaching assistant. Besides dedicating her time towards working with students she is conducting research in radiochemistry as well as biochemistry. Outside the classroom, she enjoys volunteering, shadowing, running, and being involved in several clubs.
