Biography

Michael Lempke is president of the Nuclear and Environmental Group at Huntington Ingalls Industries’ Mission Technologies division. He is responsible for HII’s DOE work in nuclear operations; project management; environmental services; and site remediation and waste management. Additionally, Michael was recently named the President of HII Australia and will direct HII’s business in-country and specifically in support of the Australia-United Kingdom-United States (AUKUS) trilateral partnership. Huntington Ingalls Industries is America’s largest military shipbuilding company and a provider of professional services to partners in government and industry. Headquartered in Newport News, Virginia, HII employs nearly 37,000 people operating both domestically and internationally.
