Biography

Dr. Sarrade joined CEA in 1995 as head of laboratory rising to head of department within the Nuclear Energy Division of CEA. He managed R&D programs in Chemical Engineering applied to decommissioning, decontamination, reprocessing and nuclear wastes management. He is the Director of the Energy Programs Direction within CEA dedicated to low carbon energy R & D programs. He is also, since 2011, the research director of CEA in Chemical Engineering and Green Chemistry. He graduated as food science and biotechnology Engineer and earned his Ph.D in Chemical Engineering.
