Biography

Sophie Mourlon is the Head of the French General Directorate of Energy and Climate at the Ministry of the Ecology Transition for France. A graduate and engineer of Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Mines, she has held various positions at the Ministry in charge of the Environment and in independent institutions such as the French Nuclear Safety Authority, of which she was Deputy Director General in charge of nuclear reactor safety from 2011 to 2014
