I am a paediatric, ophthalmology nurse and I have worked in the retinoblastoma team in Birmingham for over 20 years. The role is multifacted and like treatments for retinoblastoma it has evolved over the years. The service has seen the devlopment of the non medical health professionals who are core members of the team and are active participants in the multi-disciplinary team.
