Biography

Dr. Sohail Nazari’s current focus is to apply advanced technologies (automation) in process industries. Sohail has worked in different industries for more than 9 years, including automotive and oil& gas industries, and is now focused in mining and mineral processing. His areas of expertise include design and implementation of advance process control, intelligent condition monitoring, digital twin and machine learning algorithms. Sohail has a patent pending for developing a model predictive control algorithm for power optimization in data centers. He has received his PhD from University of Alberta, Department of Electrical and Computer engineering in 2013.
