Biography

Daniel Petkovsek graduated from Cornell University in 2012 with a degree in Biological Sciences with specialization in Biochemistry. He then obtained his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University Medical School where he graduated with honors in research. He subsequently completed his ophthalmology residency at Cole Eye Institute of the Cleveland Clinic where he served as Chief Resident. He is presently a glaucoma fellow at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Petkovsek is excited to develop partnerships with glaucoma patients that last years to decades as he works to manage their chronic conditions. He aims to sustain an active role in the glaucoma community as both a contributor to and lifelong learner from discussions of disease pathogenesis, clinical experiences and surgical technique.
