Biography

Tawny is an English Language Development teacher for Tulsa Public Schools. As an educator she is dedicated to supporting multilingual learners in and outside of the classroom. Mrs. Bishop is passionate about consistently cultivating an inclusive and culturally responsice learning environment that celebrates and acknowledges the diverse cultural and lingustic backgrounds of all scholars. Mrs. Bishop has been in education for 12 years and holds a bachelors degreen in Elementary Education and is currently pursing her Masters of Arts in English Language Learning. Mrs. Bishop continuously collaborates with teachers throughout her building to help facilitate and foster growth and success for multilingual learners.
