Biography

Michael Cabantac Mauricio is a multilingual teacher of English with nearly a decade of teaching experience. He earned his Master of Arts in Education degree with specialization in English Language Teaching from the Philippine Normal University, The National Center for Teacher Education, Philippines. His research interests include language policy and planning, language in STEM education, teacher education, and multilingualism. He is currently doing a Ph.D. in Culture, Literacy and Language at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). In addition to his academic pursuits, he has a strong interest in entrepreneurship, particularly in creating educational innovations and sustainable ventures that address real-world challenges. With his background in (language) teaching, teacher education, and academic research, he brings a critical and creative lens to both the classroom and the business world.
